“ URUGUAY Eat the World NYC review To experience a typical breakfast in Uruguay, there may be no better place to come in the area than Elizabeths La Nueva R.O.U. Bakery. Take your morning yerba mate with a selection of freshly made and delicious bizcochos. These small pastries come in many savory and sweet varieties and are an essential part of waking up for anyone from Uruguay. The bakery also has great empanadas and pascualina, an egg and spinach pastry with Italian roots. R.O.U. might not be familiar to people passing by if they are not from Uruguay, but would be an immediate reason to slam on the breaks for most Uruguayos. For more, check out todays story. ”
